Community theatre to hold auditions Henderson Community Theatre will hold auditions at 6:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, January 25 and 26, at the Henderson Fine Arts Center for the spring production, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. In this Tony award-winning tragicomedy, playwright Tom Stoppard presents a very modern re-interpretation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Director Sharon Burton will cast 12 men and 2 women for this production. Roles include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, a troupe of six players, Hamlet, Claudius, Polonius, Horatio, Gertrude, and Ophelia. Although auditioners are welcome to attend both nights of auditions, only once is necessary. The cast will rehearse on Monday and Thursday evenings with performances on March 26 and 27.
