Nominations are still being accepted for the annual President's Diversity Achievement Award sponsored by Henderson Community College.
Applications and eligibility criteria are available online at http://www.hencc.kctcs.edu/services/minority.asp
The deadline to apply is Friday, Jan. 8.
The purpose of the award is to recognize significant achievement in advancing diversity at Henderson Community College and its service area of Henderson, Union, and Webster counties. The award categories are: (1) HCC student or organization; (2) HCC employee; and (3) Community member or organization.
The award will be presented at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Program on Monday, Jan. 25 at Henderson Community College.
