Community theatre takes the stage
Tickets are now on sale for Henderson Community Theatre’s fall production, Dearly Beloved, written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten. The cast includes Lara Culiver, Angelika Skaggs, and Kelly Vanover as the three Futrelle sisters: Frankie, Honey Raye, and Twink; Savannah Warner as twins Gina Jo and Tina Jo; Paul Metzger as Frankie’s husband, Dub; Stacey Howell as Geneva, the owner of the BooKoo BoKay; Alex Nantz as Justin, the UPS deliveryman/minister; Judy Holliday as Madame Nelda, the local psychic; Dale Vanover as John Curtis, highway patrolman; Nikki Brotherton as that stuck-up Patsy Price, mother of the groom; and Frank Furbush as Wiley, a confirmed bachelor. The production is directed by Steve McCarty.
Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. both evenings. Tickets, available for $10, may be purchased in advance by calling Henderson Fine Arts Center at 270-831-9800 or 1-800-291-3402. Tickets may also be purchased at the door with cash or check. By request of the happy couple, formal attire is not required. And, please—no gifts.
