If you enjoy games of knowledge or know a lot about several different subjects, come and find out more. The academic team usually meets once a week to prepare to compete with other college teams. The HCC academic team will host a meet in the fall.

Community Theater
Offered as a Community Education class, the theatre group involves everyone whether through acting, constructing sets, working props, stage managing, or advertising. All this work culminated in two performances in
the Henderson Fine Arts Center.

HCC Community Chorus
Henderson Community Chorus is a choral ensemble for people of all ages who love to sing. The ability to read music is helpful but not required. There is no age requirement, but the ability to work in a choral group is necessary.
The chorus meets on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

KEA Student Program is a professional association for college students preparing to enter the teaching profession. KEA-SP participates in Relay for Life, NEA Read Across America, and many other community service activities.

Literary Magazine
HCC’s Literary Magazine includes selected short stories, poetry, and non-fiction work. The literary magazine is produced in the spring, and prizes are awarded at a reception. Submit your work or assist in publishing.
